We support children diagnosed with cancer to relieve suffering by providing holidays

Story

Hello, My name is Franco and I am a German Shepherd.

I am taking part in the "Dream" walk to raise money for every child's dream, a trip to "Disneyland"

The 3 day break this Christmas will take children suffering from cancer and leukaemia on a holiday of a lifetime to Disneyland Resort Paris.  Only trouble is, they won't allow me to go with them!

I will be walking 10 miles with my master Trevor who is Thomas Ball's Dad.  I never knew Thomas but I know he would have liked me because he had chosen to give me a home before he died.

The walk will begin in Gt. Missenden at midnight on 30th June because this is the day that Thomas Ball passed over into the spirit world in 2003.

Thomas died from neuroblastoma a very rare cancer, he was just 14 years old.  Please visit the website to find out more www.thomasball.org.uk

If you would like to take part in the "Dream" walk in memory of someone that you love or in support of someone who is fighting illness, please email Thomas Ball's mum Elaine at  tomballcharity@aol.com

Please help us to raise lots of money to give these kids the best holiday ever.

Thanks for reading this,

Love Franco (Woof Woof)

About the charity

The object of the charity is to relieve sickness and distress among children suffering from cancer and their families. The trustees do this in any way that will be beneficial to the sick child & family. This is usually in the form of free holidays taken in one of the charity's properties on the coast in Hampshire. It also provides play/medical equipment for hospitals/individuals, organises special treats, raises awareness of childhood cancer & donates funds for UK neuroblastoma research
