At The Dame Vera Lynn Children's Charity we are dedicated to supporting families with children under 5 years old with cerebral palsy and motor-learning difficulties.

Through our early intervention service and support network, we work alongside our families to give their young children the best possible start in life – so that they can realise their full potential.

Through Conductive Education, sensory and messy play, home visits and respite sessions we are supporting the parents to equip them with skills to provide their child with physical, emotional and social support that will enhance their development, and enable them to live as independent lives as possible.

We receive no statuary funding and are reliant on donations from the community.

I have worked for the Charity now for nearly a year and the change that I have seen in not only the children but the families lives is amazing. One little boy this time last year could not even sit up and yesterday for the first time walked out of nursery to meet his mum. It has been an absolute honour to get to know this families and support them.
