Story

Inspired by Captain Tom Moore, former Bradford Lord Mayor Gordon Mitchell will be walking 100 laps of his back garden with donations going to the Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice. Gordon supported this charity with his Bricks and Mortar appeal during 1996 and 1997 raising funds for an extension. Despite the fact that Gordon has severe mobility issues due to Parkinson's disease  he is determined to to do all he can to complete this challenge.

Gordon asks that you give whatever you can afford at this difficult time to ensure the longevity of this facility and the wonderful care given to our loved ones.

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.
