Meet Willhe

Despite his German engine he is as British as a chocolate digestive and in some places just as crumbly. 

And his name, Willhe ? No, it’s not short for Willheim. More of that later. 

You see this is the vehicle in which we will be raising money for a very good cause by driving to Split in Croatia, Eastern Europe in July.

Round trip is about 3000 odd miles…no doubt some will be more odd than others! 

Have we mollycoddled Willhe ? No, he is pretty much as we got him for £300. Faults and all, and we hope the faults aren’t all that’s left of him at the end.

So on to the fund raising.

The cause is something which is becoming an increasing issue in today’s high pressure, push, rush society; that’s issues surrounding mental health. 

But it’s far more than that old chestnut…

You see we believe that taking some time out occasionally to do something different provides untold benefits; and so does the charity we are collecting for. The charity focuses on HAPPINESS in all its merriment and forms.
