In April 2017 my close friend Paul Wilson, after fighting cancer for 16 months, was told he had two weeks to live. His wife, my best friend, called Daisy’s Dream from the hospital asking how to begin to go about telling their four young daughters....The team at Daisy’s Dream offered immediate advice and support, and continued to do so after Paul died. They were there for my Goddaughter and her sisters, visiting them at home and school,  and continue to offer support today. 

Daisy’s Dream work with families across Berkshire who have been affected by a life-threatening illness or death of someone they love. I am running the London Marathon this year to raise money so other children and their families can continue to be supported by the amazing Daisy’s Dream team, and to remember my beautiful friend with the biggest heart and love for life, the big brother I never had. 

I wish Daisy’s Dream weren’t needed, that would mean children wouldn’t have to live through the loss of someone, but they are, and they need your help to continue to be there for bereaved children and their families.
