Hi there and thank you for visiting my donation page!
This year I have decided to run the MANCHESTER MARATHON in aid of The Survivor’s Trust.
This is my first ever marathon and I am thankful for all of the support I have received so far.
As a marathon is long, gruelling experience, I thought it would be positive to turn my pain into something good, and that’s why I have set a modest target of £500 to raise for The Survivor’s Trust.
The Survivor’s Trust is a fantastic charity which emphasises local, practical support for survivors of rape and sexual assault in the UK. It provides immediate counselling, support, helplines and advocacy services for women, men and children. It represents 130 specialist organisations which each cover a local area in the United Kingdom, this ensures survivors receive effective, close support. If you would like to read more about what they do for survivors in the UK, visit http://thesurvivorstrust.org/
I am so proud to be representing such a wonderful charity and be assured your money will be helping support those who have experienced significant trauma and need support to return to normality.
Thank you so much for any donation you may choose to give. I will be thinking of you all when my legs turn to jelly and my muscles want to give up – I promise I will not let you down!
