Story

Greetings all. Thanks for visiting the page. Myself and a few stupid souls from work will be embarking on an epic Spartan Race on Oct 16th.

Check it out: http://www.spartanrace.com/

It should be quite a challenge but is also a great opportunity to raise some money for a cause that is dear to a few of us. The LT Dougie Dalzell MC Memorial Trust. http://www.dougiedalzellmemorialtrust.co.uk/

Dougie Dalzell served as a lieutenant in the Coldstream Guards. On 18 February 2010, on his 27 birthday, Dougie lost his life whilst commanding 2 Platoon in 1 Company, 1 Battalion Coldstream Guards during Operation Moshtarak in Babaji, Afghanistan.

Forefront in Dougie’s mind was always the safe return of his men. For this reason, we know his main concern would be the care of those who are injured on operation and who consequently pay a high price. We hope that the Lt Dougie Dalzell MC Memorial Trust will support those who need it.

Please give generously folks,

Thanks
