On Saturday 23 September 2017, in memory of Sophie Porter (1982-2007), Green Ink Theatre brings together writers of all genres for an annual day of sponsored writing for Macmillan Cancer Support. 

Macmillan Cancer Support is about quality of life for everyone affected by cancer: making the most of all the time families and friends have together. Reflecting this mission, writers are sponsored for their time (per hour).per hour.  

Our lovely hosts at Waterstones Piccadilly will be keeping us caffeinated throughout the writing day of 11.30am-5.30pm, but mainly we need YOU. Please sponsor Ali Catterall , Ron Gompertz (Paris), Becky Hartnup, Marianne Izen, Rachel Knightley, Lynda E. Rucker, Andrew McGuiness, Kim Newman, Rebecca Peyton and Greg A. Smith (Ohio) per hour, in recognition that (apart from money!) time is the biggest thing we can give.
