Story

I am hosting a 108 Sun Salutations Yogathon on 21st of March in the hall of Millennium Primary School. A large group of us will attempt to reach 108 Sun Salutations in aid for the Greenwich Ecology Park Outdoor Classroom over the lake. If you cannot join us at the class (see below), and want to support a local good cause, please donate generously here.

The Ecology Park is a sanctuary here in Greenwich. The staff works tirelessly to instil a love of nature and wildlife to urban kids, schools use the facilities and there are holiday activities, birdwatching opportunities, winter and summer festivals - all of which is available to us free of charge. The park is at full capacity, and an outdoor classroom built over the lake will enable them to do even more good work..

Do you want to participate in the challenge?  Come to Millennium Primary School at 10am on the morning of the 21st of March and pay a donation at the door of whatever you can afford. If you want to take it further, get somebody to sponsor your sun salutations. More information can be found at www.greenwich-yoga.co.uk/yogathon. If you are sponsoring someone specific on this site, please leave their name in your comments.

Thanks to Millennium Primary School, who give the venue to us free of charge, to the lovely people at the Land Trust, who will direct all money raised on this page directly to the Greenwich Ecology Park, and to all my countless helpers, supporters, and of course YOU, our lovely sponsors.

Namaste,

Iris
