Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Along with a group of close friends, I am attempting to run the Scottish Half Marathon in aid of Cancer Research UK. We’ve even managed to draft in  part of the Old Guard in the form of our Great Uncle Don Nicolson - David’s best mate - who’s experience has already proven invaluable.

My desire to raise funds and awareness for this particular charity stems from the loss of the most important man in my life, my Dad. Despite recently losing his hard fought battle with oesophageal cancer, my Dad continues to be loved and missed unconditionally. His positive attitude lives on and having the opportunity on a personal basis to continue to make him proud is something that can only be viewed in a similar fashion.
