Fundraising for Headway Jersey
Story
I signed up to run the London Marathon way back in 2019 and to run it in April 2020. 3 years on, after what has been an eventful time for all, I am now taking part on Sunday 2 October 2022!!
There has been considerable change in my life during these 3 years and this will be my most challenge fundraising event to date. They say failure to prepare is to prepare to fail......... I am looking to prove that theory wrong.
This will be my 4th London Marathon, and I am confident in beating my previous 3 finish times and comfortably run my slowest marathon to date. Training has been limited for many reasons, but I am not looking to win the London Marathon, I am looking to raise money for a great charity, Headway Jersey
About Headway
Headway Jersey provides free support, information and services to people with a brain injury, their families and carers. There are many people living in Jersey who have a brain injury.
Services
Each of our service users have individual needs. It is with that in mind that we have developed a diverse range of physical and cognitive rehabilitation programs to meet as many needs as possible.

Life can change so suddenly when a person is diagnosed with a brain injury. Brain injuries can range from the seemingly minor, to a life threatening condition with far reaching consequences.
