Event: Trek for Kids Vietnam 2021, from 1 March 2021 to 10 March 2021
Trek for Kids is an employee fundraising initiative from the GSK and Save the Children partnership, open to GSK employees worldwide. This year 40 GSK Trekkers, during the period March - June, will trek up to 7 days.

Story

I am 1 of 40 trekkers that will be trekking over 100km in the  highlands of Northern Vietnam to raise money for Save the Children.
Together we plan to raise £180,000 to support mothers and their new-born babies in Vietnam and in many other countries.
Having the opportunity to raise money for Kids that need our help, to make sure they could grow up in a safe environment and get what they need to grow into our challenging and fast developing world is something I 'm really proud of- especially since I'm a father, I'm even more eager to help children that are not as fortunate as my son who grows up in a very protected environment.
I will be travelling with GSK colleagues from 24 countries, coming
together for this common goal.  At the end of the trek we will see the
work first hand that Save the Children supports in Vietnam and visit one of the communities that will benefit from these funds. My personal commitment is to raise
£4,500 and every penny raised will be matched by GSK
My challenge starts now through training and fundraising.
Thank you for your support.
