Earlier this year, during the 6 Nations tournament, I had a friendly wager with former Grand Slam winning England captain Will Carling.

The match concerned was Wales v England and I was delighted when Wales won 21 -13.

Will not so much..

The loser of the wager agreed to wear the shirt of the winning team and you can see here how pleased Will was to be pictured wearing a Wales shirt.

As much as I would like to wear this shirt, as a proud Patron of Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff I thought the best idea was to hold a raffle to give as many people as possible the chance to win the shirt, while raising funds for cancer patients and their families in Wales.

The shirt has been signed by the Wales Grand Slam winning squad of 2019, and it will be professionally framed and presented to the winner. The winner will need to collect the shirt from Velindre.

The draw will take place on Monday 23 September at 11.00AM just before Wales’ first match in the Rugby World Cup against Georgia and the winner will be contacted by Velindre immediately after the draw.
