Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.
Do you ever wonder what happens to those 'blue' babies you hear about? The ones who fight for their lives as their hearts aren't plumbed in quite right? Well 7 of them have grown up and are setting off on a charity walk of Hadrian’s Wall
All 7 are members of the Grown Up Congenital Heart Patients Association (GUCH PA), a charity set up in 1993 to provide support for young people and adults who were born with heart conditions.
With the progress in surgery meaning many of these children are surviving into adulthood, GUCH PA is helping more and more people every year.
This group are also members of the GUCH walking club and meet regularly for long walks, hikes and outdoor pursuits. To raise awareness of GUCH PA, this mighty group will be walking 15 times the height of Mount Everest along the 84 mile long Hadrian’s Wall National Trail.
This will be an immense mental and physical challenge for people who are living with a heart condition
There is a future, and it's got blisters on it!

UPDATE: Thanks to everyone who has so generously supported us so far we've beaten our first target of £1,500 - including Gift Aid. We want to raise as much a possible, so please continue your generosity: everything is much appreciated.
UPDATE: 8th June. Wow!! Just two days to go until we set off and you've all been so generous we've not just beaten our £2,500 target we've nearly doubled it. £1,000 from Lehman Brothers, matching our fundraising, has helped there, too. If there's anyone who's been meaning to donate and hasn't yet done so, please do so, if we can double it that would be fantastic!!
UPDATE: 19th June. WE DID IT!!!!!! Wallsend to Bowness on Solway. 84 miles. Thanks to everyone who helped and supported us all.
