Story

The Step Up! For Better Lives challenge will harness the collective wellbeing benefits of physical activity, a sense of team and doing something together, challenging, motivating and achieving, whilst supporting Better Lives. The charity vision is to create better lives by improving the physical and mental wellbeing of our patients, service users, carers and staff. As an individual or a team, walking or running participants will complete one or more of 10 virtual step challenges. From a virtual 3 mile (6,000 steps) gentle stroll from Lister Park in Bradford to Roberts Park in Saltaire, to the 182 Mile (384,384 steps) Coast to Coast path taking in the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire Moors. The event will take place between Monday 8th June and Monday 6th July, and teams and individuals can complete as many of the challenges as they want during this time. Please note all activity will take place within government guidelines for exercise.
