The orphanage was opened in April 2005. The objective of the orphanage is to give home and hope, food and health care to orphans, abandoned children and children in difficulties. There are  currently have 29 babies at the orphanage with limited workers and food supplies are low.

The Logue family and friends have supported the orphanage and its founders Patricia and Guieta Roumba for the last 4 years by having regular visits that offer respite and practical help.
