Hannah's parachute jump · 2 September 2017

The Ghana Education Project works in the region of Nkwanta in North East Ghana. It seeks to promote the development of the local community through education, training and the associated infrastructure. Our pioneering Girls’ School opened in September 2013. http://www.ghanaeducationproject.org.uk/

Story

I've decided to take a challenge and jump out of a plane! I'm hoping to raise at least £300 for a charity called the Ghana Education Project. You can learn about the charity here: http://ghanaeducationproject.org.uk/

The charity aims to benefit children in the deprived area of Nkwanta in Ghana, by helping to develop the education infrastructure. Their most major achievement to date was the recent opening of the Kyabobo Girls' School, which has now been providing an education to around 300 girls in the area, who may not otherwise have had such opportunities.

Some families that would like their daughters to go to the school may not be able to afford their education. However, it costs £300 to send a girl to school, which is why I have made this my target.

If I can confidently reach my target, it might just make me jump out of that plane!
