So we have decided to pick our knitting needles up again... 

The last time was when my Aunty /moms sister was terminally Ill we knitted while sitting with her and  mom created a beautiful knitted patchwork quilt  which sadly she never got to see .. 

The blankets were too beautiful to stop creating so she made some for friends and family and they reminded us all of Aunty pauline .. 

Now we have decided to continue with the blankets ( in a smaller version ideal for your  dog /cat or yourself ! ) in order to raise money for charities.. 

forest dog rescue aims to give every dog a second chance and we wish to help raise funds to support them to do so and continue the great work they do . Sadly we can't take every dog home with us after walking them.. but we can help them to have happy homes in kennels until there forever home comes along . 

So what are we doing...  mom and me are knitting patchwork blankets to hopefully sell and raise funds. 

However we know that not everyone wants a patchwork blanket so this page is the chance for your to support what we do by sponsoring /donating for the hours and love that have gone into knitting them the wool has been provided by ourselves with some donations along the way 

The blankets will vary in thickness and size if you are interested in purchasing one please get in touch .. 

As the blankets are created we will upload images of each one
