Story
08/01/18 would be the 21st birthday of a close friend of mine, who sadly passed away from Cystic Fibrosis on 11/07/14, aged just 17. Her name was Elizabeth (Lizzie) Rochford but her friends and family, including myself, often called her Lizard as a nickname. She was always brave and strong, fought hard and was there for all-And still sorely missed today.
I have decided that I will be dressing up in a Lizard outfit/costume for the whole day to do something fun in memory of her and celebrate what would be her 21st birthday. At the same time I am hoping to raise money (making it a sponsored event/day) for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Whilst dressed as a lizard on 08/01/18, I will be doing day to day activities but which are all out and about-I'll be going to work (in a primary school), going to an appointment and walking around in public continuously all day-including in/through my local High Street and local area.
This is out of my comfort zone and not something I do (due to confidence/self esteem) but definitely a worthy and special cause so more than happy and willing!
As above, the main reason for doing this is to do something unique in memory of a close and wonderful friend and at the same time, raising money for this amazing charity would be fantastic, and very much appreciated. Any donations of any amount are welcome. Thank you😘
Photos will appear on this page on the day!
