We connect people of different beliefs to build a more united society

Story

Hi!!!

Over 13th and 14th July 2019 I will be walking 100km - from somewhere near Oxford, to somewhere near Swindon. As it is basically impossible to walk 100km in one day, I will have to camp overnight in tent.... anyone who knows me knows that alone is a big deal (never mind the endless walking!).

I am doing this to raise money for the Faith & Belief Forum, the UK's leading interfaith charity. Through their work in school, universities and the community, they bring people together of all faiths and beliefs and help to build lasting and meaningful relationships.

I may be slightly biased (full disclosure I do work there!!!) but I think it is an amazing charity which does absolutely vital work.

£60 - could pay for a volunteer speaker in schools to participate in three
workshops, reaching up to 200 students across the UK.

£120 - You could subsidise six small LGBT+ organisations to take part in our new LGBT+Faith programme for free.

£160 - You could fund the hire of four coaches across a year, connecting
two classrooms full of students from schools with different faith
backgrounds and allowing them to meet and develop crucial dialogue and empathy skills.

£240 - You could subsidise the seed funding for the Social Action Project delivered by a team of ParliaMentors, reaching up to 300 local people.

£600 - You could provide 60 teachers with essential resources for helping their students to discuss personal identity and controversial issues in the classroom.

Thank you for your support :) !!!!!

P.S. I have to sleep in a tent
