We campaign, support and fund research to stop people dying of bowel cancer

Story

I have decided to 'brave the shave' for Bowel Cancer UK on 23rd November as it is a charity very close to our families heart.

My brother Michael was diagnosed with stage 3 bowel cancer at the age of just 22, and had to undergo an operation in November, followed by 6 months of chemotherapy. He completed his chemotherapy in June 2016, and had regular 6 monthly CT scans from then until in November 2017, they found some more cancerous cells.

Michael had another operation on 2nd January 2018 and fortunately requires no further treatment at the moment.

My brother has continued to work throughout his treatment and got back to working as soon as possible after his operations. He is an inspiration to me and all that know him, and I want to do 'brave the shave' for him as he hates my current hair!!

Any money you can donate would make a massive difference to Bowel Cancer UK, to fund more accurate test kits to detect Bowel Cancer sooner, as well as raising awareness of the disease and finding better treatments.

Thank you so much

Harri
