We provide family-led care and support to children with life-limiting conditions

Story

Brother and sister, Harry and Grace Hitchens both suffered from a rare and life limiting condition, Niemann Pick Type C.

Both Harry and Grace, and the wider family received wonderful support from Martin House throughout their short lives.

Martin House supports children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families, across West, North and East Yorkshire. Their vision is that every child and young person has access to palliative care when and where they need it.

We're gearing up for a summer of cycling related events, all in aid of Martin House Hospice.

Event 1 - The Yorkshire White Rose Classic

We'll be joining hundreds of other riders and heading off to tackle the hills in and around the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.  We're asking those riding the White Rose with the Cubed Team to ask for sponsored support.

Event 2 - Indoor Bike Challenge

The team are inviting others to team up online to clock up sponsored (S)miles on spin bikes and power trainers, uploading their efforts to our community page.  The goal is a collective 1407 km.  Sponsorship by the mile or fixed donations.

Event 3 - The Big Family Sportif

Hosted at the Brownlee Centre, Leeds - there's coaching and peleton training for the  more capable riders, cycling proficiency for new riders and inclusive cycling for those with additional needs.  Nominal entry and booking fee, and voluntary donations on the day.

Whether' you're an avid, up and coming or new cycling, there's something for everyone!

Thank you for your support!
