You could make a huge difference with £5.  

Our pupils are achieving top grades in the region in Mombasa.  That is despite living in extreme poverty - homework will usually be done by the light of a lit rag dangling in a tin can of kerosene in a mud hut. Bed will largely mean lying on a mat in a floor and will almost always be on an empty stomach.  Most of our pupils only get fed at school.  At our school we ensure they get two meals a day so that they can concentrate.  And they are excelling! 

School holidays are daunting as these children may not get any meals at all or maybe one meal a day for the lucky ones.  Please help me ensure that the 800 children supported by Educate The Kids don’t go hungry at Christmas.  How can children still be hungry at bedtime in today’s world?!  Please help me make these children not fear the holidays but be free to enjoy a well deserved rest without the fear of hunger.  

Every £5 provides for one pupil’s family.  That is it.   

Over the last three years you have kindly given these appeals over £10,000 which has provided around 2000 food parcels for our school community in Mombasa!  Thank you!!
