Hi Everyone it’s Suzi here. I’ve taken over Helens page to plead with you once more!! Due to Helen making her commitment to MND Scotland her colleagues and friends from DGRI are completing her miles in any self propelled way by the 24th of July. On the 24th we are all meeting in the Crichton grounds to complete the last mile together with Chris and Charlie as a mark of respect to our dearly miss Helen.  We would appreciate any donation no matter how big or small to help Helen reach her target  she would have been on her road just now  a trip she was so looking forward to taking. PLEASE HELP US REACH HER GOAL.

Helens story below 😭

In July 2021 I'll be cycling Land's End to John O'Groats.  This is a solo and unsupported ride over 9 days.  I've set my own route avoiding the busiest roads and will be carrying all my own kit.  I'll be covering 931 miles (an average of 103 miles each day) and climbing over 59,000ft (an average of 6,570ft each day). Accommodation is booked and I'm so excited to be taking on what will be a huge physical and mental challenge!

I've chosen to fundraise along the way for MND Scotland (https://www.mndscotland.org.uk).  Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a rapidly progressing illness, which stops signals from the brain reaching the muscles. At this time there is no known cure.  MND Scotland offers care and support to those with the condition (and their families) helping in any way possible to enhance their lives and create precious family memories.  Some of my friends and colleagues have been supported by the charity and found their input invaluable.
