Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Our little team (The Swanfield Swimmers šŸ˜Š) have decided to throw ourselves into the depths of the beautiful Lake Windermere this coming June, because ... we are all ..... MAD!!Ā  And as part of this crazy little group IĀ will be swimming 1/2 mile on FridayĀ Ā 8th JuneĀ  (the others are swimming up to 2 miles, God bless them!šŸ™ƒ).Ā  Besides being a bit crazy, we are also raising money for the MS Therapy centre in Edinburgh. So we are maybe a bit 'good mad,' yes?

The MS Therapy Centre provides unique support and a variety of therapies for those living with MS (and other neurological conditions), and their families. Ā IT HAS BEEN A HUGE SUPPORT TO ME SINCE BEING DIAGNOSED with brainstem encephalitis, paraneoplastic syndrome, disc fusion and of course MS. The staff and volunteers are an amazing bunch and I know that the centre is an absolute life-line to many, many people. Without it, their lives, and mine, would be SO much harder. We value this service immensely.

Please help me help the centre in their mission to support all those who use this valuable resource. The more money we raise, the faster we will swim! (Well, I don't know about 'fast' but with your sipport it will definitely push me around the water to the finish line!!).Ā
