We are 5 friends who work together, Nicky, Tessa, Kim, Leaura & Natalie. We come from each of the 5 departments at People Plus in Stockton and we're planning to walk, scramble and drag ourselves up the beautiful Helvellyn  on 22nd July. We will be roughing it and sleeping under the stars over 2 nights either side and tackling Striding Edge to reach the summit. Some of us will be battling a fear of heights, there's a possibility we may need to fight off mountain lions or wrestle killer Lake District snakes,  but all for a very very good cause.

We are walking to support A Way Out.

A Way Out is an outreach & prevention charity which aims to engage, empower & equip vulnerable & excluded women, families &young people to live lives free from harm, abuse & exploitation & to reduce life limiting choices & behaviour. 

We believe that everyone should be able to live the life they choose without experiencing or fearing abuse, harm or exploitation. 

The charity relies on donations to carry out the amazing work they do, changing  and improving lives everyday. If you would like to make a donation, no matter how small we would be very grateful.
