Heppelthwaite the Red Van Plumbers are taking part in the Gravity Grand Prix 2019 on the 1st September 2019.

We are building our Red Van Plumber style kart to prove that we are the quickest plumbers in town :)  However, all jokes aside, the Gravity Grand Prix is for a great cause and has done a tremendous job in raising funds for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance.

The Gravity Grand Prix has raised well over £140,000 for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance and other local causes. They would not have been able to do this without the communities support.

The annual fund raising event has taken place in the village of Cookham Dean in Berkshire since 2007.

It's a downhill race driven just by gravity, except for a short push at
the start, and it has proved to be very, very popular amongst the 2,000
or so spectators who come to see it and experience the thrill and
spectacle of the day.

It's become a really good fun afternoon that can be enjoyed for free
by all the family. There's lots to see and do.
