Our Easter Raffle is to help to raise money to continue to care for the cats and kittens that we have at the Centre, and to help care for the ones that will be arriving in our care in the future.

The Easter Hamper has a £30 Amazon gift voucher, chocolate Easter eggs and sweets!

Raffle ticket online sales closes at 10.30am on 12th April 2022.

Tickets will be available until the draw on 15th April 2022 at 10.30am.

The winner will need to collect the prize from the Adoption Centre, HR2 9BP.

Important information - 

Entries are £2 per ticket.

Please supply an email address, otherwise we cannot get in touch with you if you win. Email hereford@cats.org.uk with your name and specify that you have entered the Easter Raffle

Simply make a donation of £2 per ticket or £10 for five tickets and JustGiving will direct the funds to the charity. We will then enter your name and ticket/tickets numbers into our Raffle Draw automatically; if you require a digital ticket, please let us know. You will receive an email if you are a winner. 

Tickets cost £2 each. Every £2 donation = 1 entry

You can also purchase five tickets for £10. Every £10 donation = 5 entries

JustGiving has a minimum donation of £2. We cannot change this. 

1. The draw will take place at Hereford Adoption Centre, Allensmore on 15^th April 2022 at 10.30am. All funds raised will go to Cats Protection. Registered Charity 203644 (England & Wales) SC037711 (Scotland).

2. Promoter: Dominic Sullivan, Cats Protection, National Cat Centre, Chelwood Gate, Lewes Road, Haywards Heath, RH17 7TT.

3. The raffle is registered under The Gambling Act 2005 with Wealden District Council, Shared Environmental Health Service, Rother District Council, Town Hall, Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex TN39 3JX.

 4. This raffle is open to residents of mainland Great Britain only (this excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands).

5. The cost of each ticket is £2.

6. Gift Aid cannot be claimed on the sale of raffle tickets and is in breach of HMRC regulations. Any ticket purchases with Gift Aid added will be cancelled and refunded.

7. Tickets are not to be sold to or by any person under the age of 18 years old. If you suspect someone may be under the age of 18, then you should request proof of age. If a ticket is sold unknowingly to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 18 they will be exempt from the raffle and will forfeit their prize.

8. Raffle tickets will be entered into the draw when the whole payment is received.

9. Tickets are not to be sold on the street or door-to-door.

10. Any money received after the arbitrary/closing date 15^th April 2022 including late entries will be treated as a donation to help fund the work of Cats Protection and will not be refundable or eligible for the draw.

11. Winners will be notified via email within three weeks of
the draw. A list of winners will also be published on Cats Protection Hereford's website www.cats.org.uk/hereford - please note you must ensure you publish the winners’ details.

12. The result of the raffle draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

13. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 21 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the
prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

14. If tickets are purchased online, you must ensure you follow the instructions and tick the box to say we can view your email address.
Any payments received where this box isn’t ticked will be treated as general donations because we have no way of contacting you. No responsibility is taken if raffle numbers are sent using an email and not received.

15. Participants purchasing tickets using Just Giving subject to terms and conditions will receive emailed ticket numbers within 48 hours.

16. The deadline for entries on the Just Giving site is 12th April 10.30am. This is 72 hours prior to the closing date/ time to allow time
for the entry to be processed.

17. Cats Protection reserves the right to use the winner’s
name for promotional purposes.

18. Donations made not in equal pounds will be rounded down
to the nearest £1 when calculating the number of raffle ticket entries. Eg if you donate £2.80 you will only receive one entry into the draw with the remainder being treated as a donation.

19. Cats Protection respects, and is committed to protecting, your privacy. The personal information you provide will remain private and will only be used for the purposes of the raffle unless you give permission otherwise.
