The Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust Team are taking on the 2.6 challenge to help protect local wildlife!
The Covid-19 pandemic has had a catastrophic effect on charities across the UK. With thousands of fundraising events cancelled, charities are experiencing a huge loss of income and many are struggling to maintain their services because of this. Now, event organisers like the London Marathon have launched the 2.6 Challenge to help save the UK's charities.
Starting on Sunday 26th, The Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust Team are taking on the challenge to help protect vital funds for wildlife. Watch our video to find out out what our 2.6 Challenges will be: https://youtu.be/0rwMQz-Rj_k
Who we are
Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust is a local conservation charity working to protect wildlife and help people connect with nature. With a team of volunteers we care for wild places so that nature has a place to thrive. We help people experience the wildlife on their doorsteps and to take steps to protect it.
We believe everyone has the right to benefit from access to nature. With free access to our nature reserves and many events every year, we provide the opportunity for people of all backgrounds to learn about and get closer to the wildlife on their doorsteps.
Our work is only made possible by the generous support of people like you. Thank you!
