This year we turn 140 years old and to celebrate our staff are taking part in a 140-mile relay around Cumbria!

The event will be over 7 days between Monday 2nd and Tuesday 10th July. In total, 24 members of staff - over 50% of the entire workforce, will take part in the challenging route around Cumbria, covering mountains and terrains at all levels.

Starting at our Penrith site on Southend Road, we'll go onto visit our old shop on King Street then continue up to H&H Group, our parent company, at Borderway in Carlisle. We will then make our way towards the North Lakes through Keswick and Ambleside before stopping off at our Milnthorpe site. The final few legs will be the journey through Kendal and Ullswater on the way back to Penrith, visiting some of our clients and key locations along the way.

We'd like to celebrate the history of H&H Reeds Printers which is why we have decided to donate all funds raised to Macmillan Cancer Support. A charity who are there right from the moment someone is diagnosed, through treatment and beyond. With cancer affecting 1 in 2 of us in our lifetime, it is a cause close to so many people's hearts - including some of our own. Macmillian offered tremendous care to one of the company's longest serving members of staff, Malcolm Warwick, who sadly passed in 2006 after working at Reeds for 50 years.
