Yemen Crisis Appeal
Campaign by The British Red Cross Society (RCN Eng/Wales 220949,Scot SC037738, IOM 0752, Jers 430)
Yemen is the world’s single largest humanitarian crisis. Extreme hunger, disease and conflict are killing or injuring an estimated 75 people every day.

Story

Next Sunday I'm going to attempt the Beara Trail in Cork, which is 126 miles over 5 to 6 days.

I am doing this with the hope of raising much needed charity funds for the Yemen crisis, where in the region of 13 million are at risk of starvation as a result of a three year civil war that has gripped the country. The worst famine in 100 years.

There's no pressure on anyone to donate. But I do urge you to reflect on the seriousness of this situation and how your humanity and kindness can help reduce it's severity. I would really appreciate if you could give this some consideration, as we really don't know how good our lives really are.
