Originally started to enjoy better sleep, smaller waistlines, healthier livers, more energy and brighter skin (to get Marcus away from the fake-tan) we felt this was the perfect opportunity to turn our personal challenge into raising money for some amazing charities.

We therefore went cold turkey on 1st January 2021 and decided three months was a good way to reset our relationship with alcohol, drink healthier all year round and raise as much money as we possibly could for our chosen charities.

This page is specifically for donations to the Princess Alexandra Hospital which has done amazing things for one of our own- below is Marcus and Julia Hodges' story...

Even though this page is associated with PAH Hospital, we will be giving our donation via cheque to the Dolphin Ward which is the children's ward at PAH.

Max and Henry Hodges were born prematurely at 32 weeks and were in NICI for six weeks.

However after bringing them home they were frequently admitted to the Dolphin Ward due to recurrent bronchiolitis and respiratory issues. Through 2018 and 2019 we were admitted almost every month. The staff there are all absolutely incredible and not only supported Max and Henry through some very difficult times in their lives with oxygen, drips and feeding support, but also helped me massively as a Mum who had never experienced hospital with two babies and everything that comes with it. They are such an amazing group of people and, while being professional, also made me laugh and were always up for a chat.

Please donate to these very unsung heroes and I can vouch for the fact that any money raised would be hugely appreciated!
