Story

Holly - Thank you for taking the time to read the page and hopefully sponsor us, When I was very young my mum suffered a Brain Haemorrhage which left her partially paralysed and confined to a wheelchair and without the rehabilitation support she received I know that her life would of been so very different, Sadly my mum passed away when she was just 40 and I was raised by my Nan and my Dad who was a huge influence on my life especially in my comedy tastes..My dad introduced me to The Young Ones and so began a life long Love of Rik Mayall which continued when my own Dad passed in 99.

Rik Mayall was a hero of mine from an early age right through to Adulthood and his Death last year at only 56 left a huge hole in the hearts of many, Headway was very close to his Heart after suffering a terrible injury himself on what he described as "Crap Thursday"

Headway are an Amazing charity which offer support and rehabilitation to so many people and their families who have suffered from Brain Injury ..Their tireless work is something I am in awe of and wish to support them however I can

Kerrie- Thank you for visiting our page and supporting us, I am raising money for Headway in The Loving memory of Rik Mayall he was and still is  a very important part of my life, without the care and dedication of Headway following his Quad bike accident the world would of been deprived of his genius much sooner but because of them we had an extra 16 years

Having met the Wonderful Mayall Children Rosie,Bonnie and Sid and getting  Rosie's support and permission to do this in memory of Her Daddy, we want to do this for all of them and his beloved wife Barbara and for everyone who loves Rik

Headway is such a worthy charity and Brain Injury is something that can effect us all.
