My artistic view is to create and collect in this project as many portraits of future mums with bumps as I possibly can. The portraits show future lucky and healthy mums in their last month of pregnancy, holding a heart shaped chalkboard where they write what their hope is for their baby's life.
My aim is to collect at least 200-300 such portraits and put them together in a collection to tell the stories of the parents' hopes for the next generation.
Hopes Photography for Charity supports Bliss, the charity whose purpose is to give every baby born premature or sick in the UK the best chance of survival and quality of life. This projects involves healthy, happy families, raising awareness and funds for the not so fortunate ones.
I try my best to schedule the shoots in the last month of pregnancy, so if you want to be part of Hopes and you're in your last month of pregnancy or even if you're not there yet, please send me a message on Facebook (click on the icon in the upper left corner) with your due date and your email and I'll set up a reminder to book you in during your last month.
Sessions will be held regularly throughout 2018 and possibly 2019.
Participation is free, participants get the selected portrait for free and sharing or using the photo is encouraged. Hopes is promoted on on social media too (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).
