At the end of March our youngest, William, was badly injured by a neighbour's dog. From the ambulance crew who got us to Birmingham Children's Hospital to the nurses who supported us with dressings as we got ready to come home, the care we received made a nightmare situation slightly more bearable.

In a few weeks, we'll each be taking part in the Great Birmingham Run, with distances from 1.5km to a half-marathon. This is our way of saying Thank You to the staff team at BCH who looked after every one of us during long days and hard nights.
