Douglas Macmillan Hospice (Dougie Mac) is the only hospice in Staffordshire supporting Children, Young Adults & Adults. Care is given to patients who are living with a life-limiting illness at our two sites and in the community. We also provide support for patients families and their carers.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Hospice at Home is an amazing service that supports our patients to live their final days at home and support their families during those difficult days.  This service is provided free of charge from the Hospice from the donations received.  So many families feed back how they wouldn't have coped without our service.  Every donation (big or small) received, contributes to us being able to support our local community with this service.

As you can imagine our work is quite challenging.  Our service is round the clock 365 days a year.  We are all proud of the work that we do.

We therefore needed a challenge that we could all hopefully achieve together.

Our team members Taking part are Ange Foreman, Michelle Hilditch, Wendy Ekin, Dianne Berrisford, Kerry Rushton, Donna Grundy, Maddie Goodfellow, Janet Hackney, Patricia Castille, Pam Dukes,  Jan Davidson, Dianne Riley and Vikki Johnson.

Janette McCartney our Director of Care and Cris Hammond Director of HR are joining us as part of their 2K challenge.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
