Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page to help us support Houndsfirst Sighthound Rescue.
As an update we raised in total £770 thisyear which is helping to save and rescue more sighthounds throughout the UK
For the previous two years in August I have challenged myself and my eldest disabled son and we have walked the 3 highest peaks in Wales. This year my youngest son and I will be following the River Wye which is the 5th longest river in Britain from its source high in the Cambrian Mountains, to its end as it empties into the Severn Estuary some 130 miles later. My youngest, 13 year old son, who will be doing this challenge with me has Autism.
We will be both walking and canoeing the distance raising money for Houndsfirst Sighthound Rescue whom I work closely with as a foster carer, fundraiser and volunteer. They rehome and rehabilitate dogs throughout the United Kingdom fostering the dogs in peoples homes whilst under assessment and whilst awaiting their new adopter.
