Story

We would like to introduce you to Costa, a 1 year old Lurcher. As you can see from the photos, beautiful Costa was born with severely misaligned front legs. This wasn't helped by the fact that he was dumped in a garden in a crate and left for two weeks before being handed into us here at HAWT. Despite the horror of his previous situation he is still a very friendly and loving boy who just wants to be fussed. Although he still likes to go for walks, the struggle to use his front legs means that he gets tired very quickly. Therefore, to improve his quality of life, we are trying to raise the funds to allow him to have surgery to repair them. The surgery is very invasive and therefore will cost in total around £6000. We want to give Costa the chance to run and play and enjoy life in the way he should be able to as a one year old. We appreciate any donation, no matter how small, in order to help him get better. Thank you x
