Fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support
Story
I am hoping that some kind people will help me to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support! During the month of July 2021, I will be hiking 100 miles in memory of my brother, Jim, who died in January 2021.
After retiring from nursing, Jim volunteered for MacMillan, helping to care for cancer patients. After being diagnosed with lung cancer himself, towards the end of his life Jim became a recipient of support from this fine organisation. If you are able to donate any amount of money, please click on the link.
Finally, if you would like to accompany me on one of my walks (mostly from 7 - 12 miles in length, but there will be shorter ones along the way!), then please let me know and we will try and get something arranged....
My friend, David Thompson, has very kindly agreed to also walk 100 miles in order to raise money too!
