We did it! We sang all 542 hymns in the New English Hymnal and it took almost 31 hours, ending just before 7pm on Saturday March 4th. 

Thank you to all who sang, played the organ, made cakes, sandwiches, breakfast, tea and coffee!  Thank you also to those who have donated so generously and left lovely messages on our JustGiving, Facebook and Twitter pages – and you can still do so!

We’re raising money to complete our Organ Fund and help our three charities for 2017 (which together will receive 20 per cent of the total):

– The Upper Room, which helps the needy in Shepherds Bush;

– Msaada, which helps Rwanda’s forgotten genocide survivors; and

– The Amber Trust, which brings music to blind and partially sighted children
