Hi friends, family, colleagues,

Charlotte and I have decided to complete a Dawn to Dusk hike across the Scottish Highlands in support of mental health this year to raise awareness and acceptance of the mental health challenges we all face at different times in our lives. 

By hiking, I am hoping to increase acceptance by removing the barriers and taboos of mental health whilst raising funds for the important work that Mind does on behalf of all those who need support in their time of need. An all day hike will be a challenge but is nothing in comparison to the constant struggle of those going through mental health troubles unaddressed.

I appreciate anything you can donate to this great cause. We will be sure to keep you posted of our progress and give you a great overview of the experience and what it means to endure an all day hike in support of this great cause when all is said and done.

Most importantly, I hope reminds us to remain conscious of our own and other's mental health, recognise and appreciate how we can support each other and continue to reduce the stigmas around mental health.
