Story

Hi, my name is Ian Hooper.

On the 4th July 2016 I suffered a seizure. Following a number of scans and tests I was diagnosed with a Brain Tumour (Astrocytoma WHO Grade II).

In view of this I had surgery on 8th March 2017 followed by Radiotherapy.

I am currently going through Chemotherapy during which I must not have a pint (Boooo!!).

However I have a break during each treatment where I can enjoy a pint (Hurray!!).

My plan is to have a Pub Crawl during each break to have fun and raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity. “The Brain Tumour Charity is at the forefront of the fight to defeat brain tumours, making a difference every day to the lives of people with a brain tumour and their families.”

Everyone is welcome to join the Pub Crawl but mainly we would be grateful to anyone who can kindly donate in cash or via justgiving.
