Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I'm taking part in the years Walking for MileS event raising money for the Berkshire MS Therapy Centre.

I started coming to the Centre in 2000 when I took early retirement.  Almost immediately one thing was very obvious - laughter.  Everyone was surprisingly cheerful!  MS is an awful disease with, currently, no cure.  If trying to tackle the disease by yourself, it is so easy to become focused on negatives and forget that MS is life altering but not life threatening.  However, at the Centre, there is a can-do attitude that pervades everything.  It is there in the therapies that take place, the social and support services provided but, most important of all amoungst the members and carers themselves.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thanks!

Ian
