I am a recreational runner; 3 miles is a comfortable distance. I've completed two 10K races in my life. The London Marathon has always been an aspiration but never a reality. I thought being the wrong side of 50 might leave it that way. Until I visited Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for Disabled People (QEF).

I was fortunate enough to visit the QEF facility in Leatherhead at the invitation of my Vistage colleague, Karen Deacon, who is the CEO of the group. I was so impressed with the positive attitude of the team, the patience, care and determination they display every day, and the success they achieve helping those in need to live their best lives. The Foundation is a charity and only survives on donations and contributions from society. I want to help them to continue their great work by raising donations from my network of family, friends and business colleagues.

The Foundation are helping me to achieve one of my life goals by securing an invitation to the London Marathon. Please support me to ensure the QEF stays alive and continues their incredible work.
