I have been really impressed with the focus that NYAS have in helping children and young adults in care, who don't have the support and resource that we have been able to give to our own children.

The statistics on the impact of care to young people are staggering, and the help and advice that NYAS can give them really makes a fundamental difference to their lives.

I am also cycling with friends and other colleagues from HSBC who are supporting another fine charity with Marie Curie at justgiving.com/liverpool2paris..

Our cycle takes many forms - starting with the train to London - cycling along the Olympic route from HSBC at Canary Wharf to Brighton. Then the ferry from Newhaven to Dieppe, and via Rouen to the historic Champs Elysees in Paris.
