We are taking part in a gruelling task for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research – I’m a manager get me out of here! On the 18th & 19th of June twenty of us will all be shipwrecked on Inchconnachan Island near Loch Lomond; the only inhabitants there are wallabies!
We will be canoeing over to the island and faced with busch tucker like trials including eating, survival, navigation and endurance activities. We have to set up our own camp - build a shelter, a fire to cook food and catch our own food! All of this will be done with no modern day necessities – mobile phones, showers, toilets and more importantly no way off the island!
The only way to leave the island is to build a raft to get back across. . .
