Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I really appreciate the support

Having had a huge year on the road with 10 hundred mile challenges, and one double century, together with several other challenging and hilly events, I am now taking on my final challenge of the year!  On 28th November, I will undertake the quest to become a Knight of Sufferlandria!

Sufferfest is a series of high intensity, low volume cycling videos designed to build strength and power.  As such each video is designed to give you a high intensity workout for between 1 - 2 hrs.  The Knighthood quest will involve doing 10 of these back to back! This equates to around 12 hrs of pretty much continuous high intensity effort.

I will be doing this with the fantastic team at Indoor Revolution and would greatly appreciate any support (physical) and donations towards Blind Veterans in their Centenary year!

Thank you to all the wonderful folk who have donated to date!

Why am I doing this?

This year marks the 100th Anniversary of Blind Veterans UK (formerly St Dunstan's) During this time they have helped servicemen and their families deal with the traumas and challenges of failing sight. This charity is close to my heart as my Father is struggling with Age Related Macular Degeneration (ARMD) and I was medically discharged from the Sappers having lost the sight in my right eye.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you so much for your support!

Ian
