MY PERSONAL STORY...
In January 2019 Isabelles biological father, Peter, passed away - he was just 35 years old. Since then Isabelle has faced some mental health issues which have affected her life greatly.
I have been an advocate for those with mental health issues for a number of years, inparticularly children. This is an organisation which is close to my heart and one I'm considering training with to further my interest and knowledge in working with children with mental health issues in the future.
By supporting me and donating to this fundraiser, you will be supporting children like Isabelle and many others like her to recieve the support they need to help deal with their issues and to start living a happier life like any child should.
So many children will need mentle health support now more than ever because of lockdown and the affect it has had on everyone.
I have set my target at £100 as I feel that is easily achievable and anything more would be a massive bonus to Place2Be, as they can help even more children. 😃😃😃
Thank you for reading and of course, for your support and donations. ❤❤❤
PLACE2BE STORY...
With so much uncertainty in the world, children and young people need emotional support now more than ever. That's why I'm taking part in Run for Mental Health with Place2Be. Place2Be is the UK's leading provider of school-based children's mental health services. During lockdown, they have been working tirelessly to provide support to children and families who need them most. With your support, Place2Be can continue to be there for families during lockdown and beyond.- £30 could pay for a vulnerable family to get support from a mental health professional during lockdown. For many isolated families this is a lifeline, giving them access to basic necessities like food.- £100 could help 14 children to reach Place2Be during lockdown and talk about their fears. Thank you.
