This year I would like to do something special with my birthday and donate it to War Child. Less than 3% of humanitarian aid is spent on child protection in conflict-affected regions. War Child is striving for a world in which no child's life is torn apart by war. They protect, educate and stand up for the rights of children. What does this mean? It means that that this year, instead of the usual lovely cards and presents I would like to ask you to make a donation please, and help me make a difference to children affected by conflict. A gift of...£5 to £10 The cost of providing basic books and stationery for 1 child to catch up on lost education£30 could pay for toys to help a group of children learn at an early education centre £100 could pay for a child to go to school for a year£250 could pay for a child to have trauma counselling for a year £500 could turn a young persons dreams into a reality by funding literacy, life skills and vocational training for a year
