Rather than accepting flowers for my Father’s funeral, we thought it would be nice to fundraise in his honour instead. Many people will remember how generous my Dad was with both his time and money at the Wesley Primary school in Dominica. We therefore thought it fitting, that we fundraise for the following charity to help children in the Caribbean to improve their literacy skills through reading books. “We seek nothing less than the transformation of the child literacy landscape in the Eastern Caribbean. Every year, we send thousands of great new books—over 464,000 since we started in 2007—that have been requested by educators via our Hands Wish Lists. We help schools (from pre-school to high school), reading programs, and community libraries—that's over 350 projects to date—create or rejuvenate lending libraries. And we work hands-on with our projects year after year—we're with them for as long as they need our help”

Many thanks for those who contributed. I am happy to say that the charity went to Wesley Primary school on Tuesday and supplied their library with books thanks to your kind donation. This would truly make my Dad proud. Thanks to everyone who donated once again.
